Privacy Policy

Raven's Occasions (an operating name of Ravens Restraint, Prince George, BC) is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients and their guests in accordance with the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What We Collect

The information we collect depends on the event. When you make a booking inquiry or payment, we collect your name and contact information (such as email and phone). During events, our booth captures photos of guests who choose to participate, and guests may provide an email address to receive their photos. Where permitted, we may retain contact information to share news, offers, and updates about Raven's Occasions. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.

How We Use It

Booking information is used to fulfill your event agreement, communicate with you about your booking, and send your invoice. Event photos are shared with the primary client via an online gallery and with guests who requested delivery. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

How Long We Keep It

Booking records are retained as required for accounting and legal purposes. For private events, we treat your photos and guest information as confidential and will honour specific retention or deletion requests agreed to in your booking. For public or promotional events, we do not make guarantees about how long photos or contact information are retained, and we may keep them for galleries, marketing, and future communications. If you have specific privacy requirements for your event, let us know in advance and we'll accommodate them in your agreement.

Guest Consent

Before taking part, each guest is shown a consent notice at the booth and chooses whether to proceed — by continuing, they consent to having their photo taken and shared digitally at their own direction. We post event photos to our social media and marketing materials only with the primary client's written permission.

Your Rights

Terms of Service

By booking Raven's Occasions you agree to the following terms. A fully signed service agreement is required before your event date.

Booking & Deposit

A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to hold your date. Your date is not confirmed until the deposit is received and your agreement is signed.

Final Payment

We suggest making your final payment before your event date so on the day you can just focus on having fun. If someone other than the person who signed the contract will be making the final payment, please let us know in advance who we should expect that payment from.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

One complimentary reschedule is available with 14 or more days' notice, subject to availability. Cancellations with more than 30 days' notice receive a full refund minus the deposit. Cancellations within 30 days of your event date forfeit the deposit and 50% of the remaining balance.

Venue & Access

The client is responsible for ensuring adequate space and permission to operate a photo booth at the venue. A power source is helpful but not required — we can supply our own power for an additional charge. Reliable WiFi is required for photo sharing and certain features; if WiFi is not available at your venue, please tell us in advance so we can plan an “off-grid” setup. Outdoor events require our black tent canopy add-on if no adequate shade structure is provided — this is a firm requirement to protect our equipment.

Liability

Raven's Occasions carries general liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of services paid. We are not responsible for disruptions caused by venue conditions, power failures, or acts of nature beyond our control.
